Top Ten Unnecessary Character Deaths

Hey guys, it's just a top ten I wanted to do:
What are the top ten deaths that should've never happened in a series?

10.) Toboe (Wolf's Rain): the Human he tried to protect shot him, and they both died! That's a sad fate for a young character like him… Still the man recognizes that Toboe had saved him before they pass, therefore it was never on purpose, rather misguided. Thankfully all good guys get revived once Kiba unlocks Paradise.

9.) Tomoko (Barefoot Gen): it's like the book "Rice Without Rain," but in the style of a Hiroshima bombing survivor's tale. His baby sister died of malnutrition, just like the referenced book's character Oi. The bigger difference is you see the lifeless baby held by her crying brother… Tomoko was such a cute face, whose life extinguished too soon…

One last thing, the creator of the manga story died last year, so rest in piece, Keiji Nakawaza.

8.) Carla Jaeger (Attack on Titan): this is a matter of difference between the new TFS Abridged and the original. She's Eren's mom who died from being eaten from the Smiling Titan (who is fan-named and will always be that way, as the bastard is now dead). The manga and anime portray this in two different ways, and honestly, the anime is less gruesome. TFS however shows the bitting down of the mouth with no body in it. Therefore the funny is also the required censorship. BUT, before that she was trapped in the house after it collapsed. Eren and Mikasa tried to get her out, and as the Titan came closer, Hannes jumped in. Carla asked him to let her die but keep the children alive, and at first he goes for the kill of the Titan, but the smile puts him in fear and he cannot do it. What I found wrong with the death was that Hannes could've helped as well to free Eren's now late mother. Oh, and the TFS version of her being trapped, I hate so much…

7.) SMILING TITAN!? (Also Attack on Titan): I have no trouble with his death in the manga, period. It's just how he took this death that pissed me off. I was hoping that when Eren's Coordinate ability that controls Titans around him, except Shifters, and that the Titans turned on Smiley, that the smile would turn into a frown and the bastard would scream as if karma hit his invisible ba---------.

6.1.) Pan (Young Jijii AF): I've learned to cope with this only because if it never happened, Ize wouldn't be killed by SSJ5 Gohan's revenge, and the Z Fighters wouldn't learn that Goku passed after Omega's threat. But honestly, Ize killed weak beings in another planet, hoping to attain the goal after awakening, to test his power on a strong opponent. Had the soldier shut up and never told him of Frieza's death to Goku, or at least knew Goku wasn't at Earth, Ize would've probably never killed Pan. SERIOUSLY! Pan could've survived and either stayed out of the other battles, or trained to get stronger. Unlike Toyble, she cannot go Super Saiyan. Well either way, the NEW Shadow Dragons will soon die off and Pan AND Goku will be back, but will that close Jijii's AF? It is to my belief, his "main chapter" he spoke of when saying AF wouldn't end after Ize dies, but maybe it isn't over. Besides to all you GotenxValese fans, Valese is pregnant!

Either way, I feel Pan shouldn't have died, but this also is a good thing, now that I want to make a Meta-Ize manga special! Oh, and lastly, it's an equal to this one…

6.2.) U16 Pan (Dragon Ball Multiverse): I've despised Bojack all my life, and that scene made it worse. BOJACK NEVER COULD UNDERSTAND TRUE POWER! That's why even Cell killed him. Sure, in U6, Bojack continues to kill other planetary beings as he wants to expand his empire. Even Frieza's is wiped out! But it's not the same as training… Cell has improved over the time and that Bojack didn't. But what makes the death unnecessary was that Pan was about to say that she gave up, when Bojack began to hold her and then break her neck! I HATE THAT DEATH METHOD! Ever since, it seemed as though everyone else wanted to follow-up with that method when killing females. The fetish has got to end! Find a new way of killing girls! But either way I hate female deaths. U16 Pan is no exception!

5.) Chou (Nessie-Noodlez's DBZ fanfic universe): that's right! It's a friend's OC! She is Mirai Son Gohen's wife from an alternate evil timeline, who died after giving birth to Pars and Sikori, twin siblings. Gohen lost his mom and dad, regained happiness with feelings of love, and now his wife dies… It's like the new movie Wolf Children where the Wolf-Human hybrid husband dies some time after the second child is born. One parent, two kids… And in the Mirai DBZ world, there's unforgiving forces of chaos around… I really can't help but say that, Nessie! It's sad!

4.) Latios (Pokémon Heroes movie): A legendary died twice! There are two Latios!? The first died leaving behind Latios 2 and Latias, the children of the original… And in this movie, Latios 2 dies… That's horrible! Luckily, Latios becomes a new Soul Dew… or is that sad too? Either way, you get my point, right?

3.) Snake (Metal Gear Solid): he commits suicide in the end of 4… WHY!? That's terrible! He shoves a gun in his mouth, and the screen moves up, and then the gunshot sounds off. That Snake may be a copy, but he's still a hero in our hearts. I think he could've held on a little longer and perhaps… have someone help him find a way to re-stabilize his aging process? Either way, Raiden takes on the missing position of the title, "Hero" in Revengeance.

2.) Ripp Van Winkle (Hellsing Ultimate): Alucard is an idiot, a bloodthirsty idiot! He killed a vampire female who begged for dear life upon defeat. Not only that, but there was nothing done to help her by The Major's forces. (A warrior's death… like Nappa? Warrior death my a*%!) Sure, Alucard drinks vampire blood to reach his ultimate form or whatnot, and he's the hero! But it's like Zangya in Bojack Unbound, but more brutal, and slow! DAMMIT!

1.) Iris (Megaman X4): "WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOOOOR!?" Seriously Capcom!? Zero's love interest of X4 dies fighting for a false cause stirred up by Sigma! Also, Colonel her brother, asks Zero to tell Iris that he died a happy death. Well when Zero finds Iris, she attacks him! After she lost her transformation, her armor, she is greatly wounded and dies… I ship ZeroxIris greatly. I even wanted her action figure, though I learned it was fan made years later. But I also like ZeroxCiel… even if ReploidxHuman seems weird. But it happened before (Andrew in the Megaman Zero series in Resistance Base is a Reploid), so it's possible. But I still believe Zero kept his heart true to Iris, even after her death… which shouldn't have ever happened, or should have been voice acted better. Seriously, the tone isn't serious enough!
