DataRex+: Rendo Yukashi (Data-Rex)

Rendo Yukashi was a high school senior in the Pre-Crisis Prologue of DataRex+, my first ever original series. Ever since society and technology both advanced in positive ways, Rendo in his first college year took courses in the field of Data and Computer Tech. He is on an internship for a certain company that looks into special computer issues, and Rendo was on the scene of the incident where a certain CPU got hacked into, and it was the one that had the program that linked to the Cyber Realm. When his watch however, made contact with the machine, it got stuck to it, and for a certain amount of time received so much data, that it upgraded into more than what was perceived as a standard model of its kind.

That watch could now track the activation of the Cyber Realm portal, and now included an AI, the AI started dormant until a certain event or two, but even when dormant, Rendo had a special power he could unleash. With the Matricize command, the data retrieved from Cyber Realm brought back one of the mysterious heroes from the previous year, who saved us from the evil ones. Rendo had the powers, the armor, and AI of Data-Rex, the group's leader.

As Data-Rex, a stream of Data (that's what Cyber Dwellers are technically composed of) in memory and weaponry, and other certain aspects support the usage of fighting in the armor. Within the databanks lies multiple combat sets, which Rendo can equip three of many weapons per set. Yet these weapons are inactive. Therefore, the only three he'd get so far are the following:

Rex Blaster: This is NOT a Megaman ripoff. The series was rather inspired by certain parts of Megaman. The Rex Blaster fires energy shots at rapid rates and can charge up for massive lasers. The blaster also contains multiple shot patterns, and even customizable ones that Data experts can create themselves.

Dinata Claw, a weapon forged from the original Data-Rex himself. Using it requires your whole arm to be in motion most of the time, so it's not as effective as sword weapons. However, its strength and sharpness is more than enough to make up for that flaw in using its weapon type. The orb on the back of it can absorb energy for more powerful attacks when Data-Rex's weapons with orbs are switched out with the current. The current one because of this won't be powered up after absorbing energy. This can also be performed with the Rex Blaster.

Tri-Cutter is a weird weapon indeed. I always loved to play with drawing tools, and seemingly saw a weapon-like potential within the shape. So, a drawing 30, 60, 90 degree triangle as a weapon… It's actually pretty cool when described in this certain way:

The Tri-Cutter is a tool that can slice things much quicker than the Dinata Claw. Though it also makes sense that it's less stronger than the former. But it also beats the Dinata Claw's sharpness. This weapon cannot absorb energy, but can slice energy or deflect it. Both good uses for this weapon indeed.
