Super Saiyan Trunks and the Light Sword Technique

Aw man, how long has it been since I posted a drawing on dA? ^^; Maaaaaan, what the heck is wrong with me. That being said, I have been able to draw other stuff before, I just haven't finished them or scanned them yet, that's all.

Long story short, I've taken the time to get back in touch with my 'artist sense' after finally being currently done with the semester. I started doing a sketch after making a fan design, I felt like I was in the mood to draw Trunks at the time. So I figured I'd do my best to draw normal Super Saiyan Trunks from Dragon Ball Super.

This is the same one, but I imagine this picture to be sort of like... after Goku Black being as I left out those small rips in the pants and jacket. In my honest opinion, I'm actually interesting in him being able to focus his Ki into his sword and create a blade when given the broken hilt in episode... 66? Yeah I think that was the one. I mean, the part where there was the Spirit Bomb-like ball that he implemented into his sword just like that, that part may have been random, but I suppose it was cool.

This right here is when he first created the blade, before the Spirit Bomb thing. It's also known as Light Sword if you've played Dragon Ball Fusions. (Holy crap, just realized I've never gotten the game yet. :XD: What's wrong with me?)

Point is, I'm glad I didn't take too long to finish the sketch, and am impressed that I didn't find myself struggling with what to do with the hands. I'd say that's an improvement. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Lookin great! I like those poses ready to attack with swords. The energy effect of the sword and his angered and tense expression are really cool ^^
